DD is 19 and has Netflix. She is rewatching a TV series, is that the done thing now? How boring... You know what happens!? AIBU?

surely you don't have to understand it? If you aren't being forced to watch it, then different strokes for different folks. Life is much more calm if you aren't spending time struggling to understand why people do things differently

Currently re-watching ER from the beginning again. This time it's with my eldest ds. I bloody love it.

DP made me watch Star Trek Deep Space 9 with him. I didn't want to to begin with, but we reached the end of season 7, and I instantly wanted to rewatchnit all. And I would have if he hadn't insisted on moving onto Voyager. Finally, 2 years later I'm getting my rewatch!

Ooh this thread is making me want to start from the beginning with ER!

I think it depends what kind of programme. My favourite ones are nordic dramas like The Bridge, but they are too plan dependent for me to want to watch them again.

Comedies, however, can almost improve when you watch them again. Frasier is still excellent!

I watch for the acting: if it's well done it's like hearing a piece of music beautifully played.

Outlander and West Wing for me. I watch lots of things more than once but think I'll be watching these 2 again and again for years to come.

Comedies are definitely good to rewatch a few times. Community, 30 Rock, Parks & Recreation - you spot things second or third time round you didn't at first!

Perhaps not so much a murder-mystery thing where you know the ending. But even that could be good I guess if it's well-acted or interesting?

We're also rewatching Anne with an E at the moment, it's been a surprisingly good Netflix find.

I have watched Captain Phillips, Sully the bad seed, Aquila and the bee, the lady, the Gabby Douglas story and the Nadia Comaneci movie plenty of times. And lots of others.

I really like orange is the new black so have watch that a few times. Plus I put things on as I'm about to go to sleep so sometimes I fall asleep on it! Grin

I've been watching Everybody Loves Raymond and Frasier every morning for the last 14 years..... Grin
