DD is 19 and has Netflix. She is rewatching a TV series, is that the done thing now? How boring... You know what happens!? AIBU?

I re watched The Tudors straightaway after finishing it. I thought it was awesome. Never done that with any other series where I've watched it again straightaway. Although I've also watched Fringe, Grimm, American Horror Story and Once Upon A Time more than once also.

MrsNuckyThompson · 17/05/2017 21:48

I've watched the BBC adaption of Pride and Prejudice many times!

Greyponcho · 17/05/2017 21:49

I re-watch series while I'm crafting so it's something to have on in the background, it's not new so I'm not worried about missing something crucial and dropping a stitch or six while I gawp at the tv Grin

Areyoufree · 17/05/2017 21:49

I'm terrible for this. I would often prefer to watch something I have seen before than something new. My husband is the opposite, so I have to push myself to watch new stuff all the time. But I have secretly just rewatched Luke Cage, even though we only finished watching it the first time slot a month ago. I've been known to get to the end of a book and start from the beginning again - or pick up a book I have read many times before and just randomly start reading halfway through. I think I just like the familiarity of the characters and places.

lougle · 17/05/2017 21:50

PIVOT!!

Areyoufree · 17/05/2017 21:50

About a month, not slot a month. My phone is being a dick at the moment.

londonrach · 17/05/2017 21:51

Rewatching dawsons creek at the moment. Forgetten alot. Planning to rewatch friends afterwards..

OdinsLoveChild · 17/05/2017 21:53

I like to rewatch things all the time. I miss things the first time so I like to go back over programs I enjoy to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Also I rewatch things if tv is generally crap.

phoenix1973 · 17/05/2017 21:54

Me and my daughter love watching all the seasons of Benidorm again and again.

Nothing else except travel docs for me.

Bedraggledmumoftwo · 17/05/2017 21:54

When I was 19 I watched Dawson's creek over and over . would probably still be able to watch it now if I had time!

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 17/05/2017 21:57

I watched the entire series of Friends whilst breastfeeding DS1. It was great! I've watched some of The Wire again, and I've just started watching Homeland from the beginning, I had forgotten so much. I'd definitely watch Breaking Bad again. And I watch very little TV in total.

Sallystyle · 17/05/2017 21:57

Being Human can be watched every single day, for obvious reasons.

I could re-watch True Blood as well.

MerlinEmrys · 17/05/2017 21:59

YABU.

Lost count of how many times I've watched Buffy, Angel, Merlin, Supernatural, Firefly etc

If you love the show it's worth it!

Sallystyle · 17/05/2017 21:59

I do get a bit hmm when DH laughs when Del Boy falls through the bar every time. You know it's coming!

Oh but it is so funny every time!

I can binge watch Only Fools and Horses over and over again as well. Love it.

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 17/05/2017 22:00

Oh, and Flight of the Conchords, I swear it gets funnier.

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 17/05/2017 22:01

I agree, Delboy falling - it's funny even when I just think about it.

silkpyjamasallday · 17/05/2017 22:01

I repeat watch/read/listen to anything that I have really enjoyed. I used to watch the lion king almost everyday as a child and the familiarity is comforting in the same way now as an adult. The overwhelming amount of choice is another factor and it is sometimes easier to just go for a safe option that you know you enjoy

kali110 · 17/05/2017 22:02

I watch certain things over and over. I enjoy them.
They tend to be things that were on over a decade ago though.

bloodyuselessme · 17/05/2017 22:02

I must have seen the American Office all the way through 8 times by now. Have repeat binged Community as well. And agree about pride and prejudice, it's like putting a comfy dressing gown on

plominoagain · 17/05/2017 22:10

I cheerfully admit that a Saturday afternoon cooking in my kitchen with Miss Marple on for the umpteenth time is one of my pleasures in life , if only to vindicate my opinion of how much Joan Hickson was better than any other incarnation before or since .

RortyCrankle · 17/05/2017 22:11

My favourite programme is Lucifer on Amazon Prime. It recently had a three month break between the bulk of series 2 and the last three episodes prior to the start of series 3 and I wouldn't like to admit how many times I re-watched Series 1 and what had been shown of series 2 whilst waiting. I could happily watch every episode many times over.

Sparklingbrook · 17/05/2017 22:11

But you know DelBoy is going to do it. Confused Same as the chandelier one. You know they do the wrong one once you have seen it.

But I never thought OFAH was that funny. Dh disagrees.

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 17/05/2017 22:13

But you know DelBoy is going to do it. confused Same as the chandelier one. You know they do the wrong one once you have seen it.

Doesn't make it any less hilarious!

Sparklingbrook · 17/05/2017 22:16

Not for me I am afraid.

rainbowgiraffe · 17/05/2017 22:19

I've watched breaking bad 3 times.
