DP's teeth

DP has had to had a few teeth removed and now has a plate that fits in the roof of his mouth with replacement teeth attached. The thing is, after eating he spends the next hour or so getting food stuck on the plate out using his tongue and I find the noise really unpleasant. He says he can't help it. AIBU to think, after eating, he should go to the bathroom and clean the plate and floss his teeth? I don't like having food stuck in my teeth so I always floss after eating.

Yanbu. I wouldn't be able to cope with that at all. Why won't he go to the bathroom and sort it out?

Funnyonion17 · 17/05/2017 08:23

I'd be sick!

It is recommended plates are rinsed after meals, bacteria and slime can collect under them

Kokusai · 17/05/2017 08:26

God yes he should go to the bathroom and clean the plate and his feather!

Flyinggeese · 17/05/2017 08:29

I'm not squeamish usually but that is absolutely revolting OP, YANBU!

I think he must be reading my MN posts because as soon as I posted this he stopped doing it. Maybe I should start a thread on controlling behaviours and see what happens next

Why are you scared?

BeachyKeen · 29/06/2017 20:39

Scared as in you need to take action?

SparklyMagpie · 29/06/2017 20:41

What's happened since OP?

SleightOfHand · 29/06/2017 20:45

I agree, he needs to go to the bathroom.

GinGeum · 29/06/2017 21:01

Everything okay, OP?

Elllicam · 29/06/2017 21:04

What controlling behaviour?

FoxSticks · 29/06/2017 21:05
