I thought these were desert storms? So I'd be surprised if we get them in the U.K.

Just a thought but does the UK ever have thunder snow? I haven't heard of that one either until a few months ago.

Grumpy, somebody mentioned that one occurred in a northern US state. So maybe they aren't just limited to deserts

hellokitty We had thundersnow where I am in Scotland a few years ago. It was amazing to watch the lightening through the heavy snow.
