Was this a stupid question?

I applied to Tesco recently. I've just had a phone call asking me to come for a group interview tomorrow.
Just a couple of hours before l need to collect my daughter.
I asked the man who called how long the interview might be?
In my mind ( at the time) l felt l needed to know as l don't have anyone who can help with picking up!
I know it wasn't the perfect question as l know l should just be available
Have l messed things up? If ld had a couple more days to prepare, l'm sure l could have worked something out -but l panicked
I'm just amazed l passed their crazy screening questions!

No question is stupid if you don't know the answer.

You need to know, so you can make arrangements / organise yourself etc.

Tesco employs lots of parents and we all know chn go to school and need to be picked up. If the interviewer hasn't factored this in, I'd say it's them being stupid, not you.
