There's a thread because it's news and people have been waiting for that bastard to die for years. But he hung in and on, taunting his victims families and never giving the whereabouts of Keith Bennett's body. Even from prison he could make my blood run cold and I for one am over the moon that he's gone and can do no more damage.

I find it sad because Keith's family still don't know where his body is. Thoughts are with all his victims families tonight. x

My thoughts are with the victims and their families. They have been tormented by this man for too long and will continue to be.

I hope it was a drawn out, horrific death that caused him nothing but fear and pain.

Thinking of the friends and families of his victims tonight. They are the ones who deserve peace, comfort and our thoughts and prayers.

I like to imagine his rotten bad soul being dragged down by hands (like on Ghost) to his rightful place in a Hell of some kind .

Damn shame it took so long but there will be no closure for Keith's family and that is ever so sad .

What happens to 'people' like him with regards to a burial/ cremation. I assume there won't be any family. Does some poor priest/official have to say a blessing? Or can the paperwork just be signed and the deed done without any ceremony?

It would be fitting for there to be absolutely nothing.

These are the ones that should be remembered. Brady and his vile consort should be buried without ceremony in unmarked graves and their names never spoken. Too often the victims are just appendages to the scum who torture and kill them.

I live just off the moor. It's a beautiful place that will always be linked to that Scum. We used to see Winnie sometimes when we drove home from the supermarket. Just standing, looking,crying. That poor woman was as much a victim the Psychopath add her son.
The news crews will be here again in the morning no doubt. Then the ghouls will turn up again wanting to know all about it.
