On my way from an appointment back to the office, dropped into the local shop to buy some alcoholic beverages for a colleague's leaving drinks later today. She asked me for ID.

Now, it's admittedly not the best lighting in there, but I'm 35! GinGrin

Am I alone in being disproportuonately pleased?

Ah, that's a lovely feeling. The last time I was asked for ID was about 6 years ago when I was 33. Probably the adult-onset acne and work uniform that looks like school uniform though in my case.

Enjoy!

I'd be over the moon. I offer my ID regularly but no one wants it. I'm 44.

Hadn't happened to me in 3 years either. It must be my new hair colour ...

... okay, let's face it, she needs glasses. But I'm going to be lying to myself here for a bit.
