I agreed to two showers. They've put in ONE small crappy one (size of my palm!). Just had my first shower now and detest it.

It's fitted to the bath and has none of its own settings. The water was either scolding or freezing. No happy medium. It even fall at one point (it's just an attachment and not even a shower!!!!!)

You don't necessarily need a pump for that sort of shower. I have one with no pump.

You need a thermostatic unit though or the OP wouldn't solve her "too hot/too cold" issues anyway.

I agree get him back to do what you asked him to do.

However, do you have the relevant pump, pipes, etc for a shower like this?

VerySadInside · 13/05/2017 14:31

Normally you choose and buy the shower and then a plumber fits it, surely???

You don't say I want a double shower and leave plumber to find the right one. What if there's none in the shop or they are way out of budget, he props had to get the single shower.

I have a shower thats not working well and would like to have it replaced with a shower and shower attachment - so I am watching this with interest.

I know why, too! If you didn't serve him and his crew endless cups of tea and coffee, with a selection of biscuits, plus meals (cooked ones, not those lame sandwiches) and personal toilet, it's no wonder the job wasn't up to par!
