Where to take young kids in London tomorrow

On our way to London today, visiting friends today and going to legoland on Monday. Have nothing planned for tomorrow so open to suggestions. Kids r 3,4,7. It's their first trip to London.

I'm not in London, but when we've gone with our Dcs, we've been to the Natural history museum, which is pretty good for a range of ages. There's also a lovely park (the princess Diana one...can't remember the actual name), that my Dcs loved when they were younger...

Natural history museum and science museum are right next to each other and free.

There is the transport museum but it's about £20 for an adult ticket. Not sure about children prizes.

I think the park mentioned above is the one by the millennium bridge.

Where abouts will you be?

There is a museum of childhood in Bethnal green too.

The London eye and a walk down along the Thames there are street performers and somewhere to get an ice cream etc.

Open top bus? Ripleys is great. Sometimes a walk along the river is great with young kids - try the area around the South Bank where there are usually street performers and food stalls.

Go to Trafagar Square and walk down Whitehall to Parliament square to see Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. On the way down Whitehall stop at Horseguards for the Household cavalry and take a quick look at Downing Street.

From Parliament Sq go through St James's Park to Buckingham Place (letting the dc run around/picnic in the park). From BP you can walk back up the Mall to Trafalgar Square.
