....met Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) at Newquay Airport in Cornwall a few years ago now. He said Hi and gave me a lovely smile. T'was great.

I'm ok, feeling a bit emotionally battered but don't want to hijack from the normal silliness of this thread.

Famous people I've met include Ant & Dec, Princess Anne and erm that's about it. My brother used to work for the BBC and has met loads of famous people, he once went for a drink with Des Lynam.

I also used to share a dentist with John Virgo....does that count?

..met John Parrot's auntie in hospital last year! She was 91 and a very switched-on, amusing lady. She had the ward in hysterics with her charming stories of days gone by. Bless her!

My mum used to live next door to Sally from Corrie's parents.

Oh and I once walked past Betty Smith (Nana in The Royle Family) in a hospital.
