This girl is nineteen. NINETEEN and already she's had lip fillers, breast implants and fat injections into her bum, so many procedures that she's unrecognisable from the beautiful young woman she used to be. How much of a complex about her looks must she have grown up with, to have jumped straight into all this as soon as she was old enough?? And tragically, she's being held up as someone for teenage girls to look up to, and aspire to be like. It makes me feel sick.

I think most TV problems that are reality based lead to such issues, my ex watches TOWIE which is utter garbage, they all have white perfect teeth, I mean brilliant white. Quite a few of the women have a boob job, plus no carbs before Marbs

Quite proud to never have seen an episode of the Kardashians or that Essex thing. No interest in any of them - they all seem very vacant, self-obsessed and not exactly very bright. Why are people so interested in them?

Agree that teenagers shouldn't be having plastic surgery except to correct medical problems. Fillers, implants and so on just make you look false and plastic. Not a look to aspire to.

What so many people gloss over is that this girl directly affects how my 14 year old niece feels about herself and her body, and what she thinks she needs to do in order to be considered pretty. When I have children I don't want them thinking that this is what young girls are supposed to be aiming for.

OP you say this but yet blame Kris Jenner for how her daughter turned out. If you rice was to follow the same line as Kylie (a celebrity) then I'd blame your sister for how she turned out.
The fact is ; children are influenced by the media. It's worse for Kylie because she was ripped and labelled as the ugliest of the bunch. On top of that, it's a known fact that the media affects girls - imagine it for Kylie who actually lives in that world. Her mum didn't call her that, we (society) did. The only difference between her reaction and an average teenager who goes through the same is she had the money to act on her insecurities.

Please have a look on YouTube - these girls have money and their all having fillers etc done. natalieparis started at 16(think she's 17 now and had her nose done, lipfiller and boob job. fancyvlogsbygabbi* has also had procedures.

Point being ; Kris is as responsible for Kylies decisions as your sister is as responsible for what your niece's decision will be, if not less so.

And honestly for a site that seems to be pro women, there's quite a lot of sad comments here. they all seem very vacant, self-obsessed and not exactly very bright. Why are people so interested in them? Because they don't do what you think is valuable? These people make millions from what they do and influence of your kids more than you do (speaking generally of course). I would not say they are stupid.

This is why my nearly 9 yr old does gets very limited and supervised internet access. I want her identity shaped as far as possible for who she is, not what she looks like, before she discovers how cruel this world can be. I feel very sorry for these young women, who are disfiguring themselves. The world has so much to offer, yet they cannot see past the end of a selfie stick.

I know I am also posting so contributing to this but I really can't get so het-up about what a woman chooses to do with her own body.

I do know the name Kardashian but if I hadn't read this on MN I wouldn't have a clue about it. Who are these people and where are you seeing them all the time? I can honestly say that other than on MN I don't come across them in anything I choose to read or watch.

My children haven't got a clue who they are either.

It's all to do with money. Not Kylie or her family striving for a look or whatever. It is just what sells photos which sells ads which makes millions for them and their families.

Look at the Beckhams (until David messed up) - every family member was using their name and image to sell stuff and make money.

If looking pouty and sexy sells photos and makes them money the Kardashians will do that. It's business.

I have absolutely no interest in Kylie,Kristen or any of themBut it's their choice how they live their lives.And to me it's easier to blame them than look at your own parenting choices and failures.

If your kids want to look like Kardashians or have low self esteem.Thats down to you,not some reality show "stars".

If Kylie or Kendall or Kim or whoever else had such low self esteem they had to change their whole appearance then it was down to their mum?

Not rt whole ft yet but wanted to say that I have a 9 year old dd. Everyone in her life tells her that she is smart, funny, beautiful. There is no one in her life who would have a negative impact on her self esteem - she has a family who adore her and a school which encourages her talents and interests. And still, she will see a model on a shampoo ad, swishing her long blonde hair and will tell me that when she grows up she wants to be beautiful like her!

Now, if society can influence even my child, who is growing up being told that she is wonderful, how much of a free choice did those Jenner girls have? They haven't grown up in a vacuum, free from all influences and able to make objective choices about their own bodies. They have growing up surrounded by constant plastic surgery and the message that you have to change yourself completely in order to be successful.
I think Kris and Caitlyn are shocking parents and have a lot to answer for!

I can't stand this bloody awful family. All of the girls, with the exception of Kendall, now looks like wax works. Nothing they do is ever private, they are so narcissitic and disgusting the lot of them.

I'm still not convinced that Kim's armed robbery actually happened either. I wouldn't put it past them to have set that up for the publiclity.

I was read the coverage of the Met Ball as I have a thing about fashion. Kylie & Kendall went for designs that were basically fish that had sparkly shit on. Both were in danger of flashing their fluff.

Then the DM dedicated a whole article and KK-W 'modest' dress, that looked like I'm not sure what. It was quoted since the 'robbery' she is less greedy and materialistic. I thought pull the other one her dress wasn't from Primark, it was couture.

The K/J's were another Dad of my exes for about 8 seasons. I say this in the nicest way, but I don't thing the robbery could have happened to a more self involved, nasty person. She was a bitch to everyone as I'm KK don't you know. Her first husband playfully chucked her into the sea, she started cry as why pissing about she was wearing £30k earnings and she lost one, the guy dived 'to look for it. I'm no expert but the seas were pretty vast but he found it ok & the blubbing paid off.

She's vile to her brother who has many self image issues, which is understandable being stuck where he was, in what is not much less than a coven, but that's offensive to witches and Pagans.

KJ allows it, she allows KK-W to bully her way through everything. I hem

I'm a believer in karma, I think this was a big wake up call for every nasty thing she's said and done. I used to be quite materialistic, then I saw the light, life is so much better now.

I don't understand US folk who claim to be devout Christians but totally ignore the bible. For example teachings on money. You never hear of donations or anything. The youngest 2 'Graduated' at the same time from High School, ill leave that to your imaginations.

I think it's really quite sad that a 19 year old would already have undergone such extensive plastic surgery. I’m all for someone who’s always hated a particular body part to get it fixed if they want, but for someone to feel the need to ‘fix’ their arse, their breasts, their lips, their nose….their who knows what else, and all before they’ve even reached the grand old age of 20 is seriously fucked up. She's never going to be happy with her looks and it’s not like she’s going to stop is it? God knows what she’ll look like by the time she’s her mother’s age.

The thing is Even she doesnt look like most of her photos, even her insta and snapchat photos are airbrushed. Recently wasnt there that photo of kim of the beach, where you could see her surgery scars and cellulite? the reality is most of these women that have these procedures will look like this unfiltered. I think its bad they are selling an image which is not available for anyone.
