To eat the WHOLE bag of Babybel

More of a Would than Am...

Popped out and bought a bag and it's sitting on my desk at work just starin at me. I've eaten three (piglet emoticon) but the rest of them are calling me...

So would I be unreasonable just to answer that call? (I think it's a good think I don't share an office...)

Yes. They're even worse than Dairylea. If you were talking about proper cheese then I'd say 'go ahead!'

BeeThirtythree · 08/05/2017 05:43

Oh sweet baby cheeses! Just eat them all now and behave in moderation for the rest of the week?

TheDowagerCuntess · 08/05/2017 05:52

YABU.

If you're going to over-indulge, then do it with something worth the calories.

Why is this even a question? You know you're going to do it, babybel are addictive little buggers. Plus you get a nice ball of wax to play with Grin

My DH loves the wax, once got randomly crafty and tried to make me a heart shaped candle from a bit of tin and some babybel wax, made a horrible mess in the kitchen but it was kind of sweet.

1 bag =1 portion

Fact

RoseGoldProsecco · 08/05/2017 08:01

Have you seen the giant babybels, OP? I am gutted they don't sell them over here any more

fourquenelles · 08/05/2017 08:04

Have you seen the giant babybels......

Isn't that Edam? 😅

FrozenMixedVag · 08/05/2017 08:07

Have you got pica, OP?

user1491572121 · 08/05/2017 08:08

Does anyone else think that they don't taste of anything at all?

RoseGoldProsecco · 08/05/2017 08:09

OMG no!!!!!! Edam is gross. Babybel is like the dirty little crack secret of the cheese world.

See also Boursin. So Wrong. So Delicious, esp that cracked black pepper one.

VerySadInside · 08/05/2017 08:09

Yes you would.

They are like a multipack of crisps and you wouldn't eat 6 packets of crisps would you?

user1491572121 · 08/05/2017 08:20

Sad I would. I do, in fact, sometimes eat a multipack of crisps.

Wouldn't touch Babybel though.

Imamouseduh · 08/05/2017 08:23

Babybel are grim.

RoseGoldProsecco · 08/05/2017 08:35

Mouse - in that case, I think your username must be a lie.......

You've just reminded me I've got these in the fridge!

sad id easily eat a multipack of crisps (or a family sized bag, not fussy me!) especially Golden Wonder pickled onion Wink

thiskiwicanfly · 08/05/2017 08:53

Thanks folks. Babybel seem somehow different, naicer than those processed cheese slices wrapped in plastic... and no need for a knife or a plate. I feel slightly guilty if I sit down to the same volume of vintage cheddar, Camembert or other cheese without crackers or bread (and in my defence gluten free bread is GRIM down here in the antipodes...). Some of the things you mention are tricky to get here and expensive. So I'm going to go with not unreasonable right??? Wink

OP I'm sure you know YABVVVU to even contemplate NOT doing this!!

Leave them for 10 mins more and you may attract mice!

And what about the poor person in the office who's on an all-carb diet? Are you REALLY willing to put temptation in their way like this?

you KNOW what you must do...

Imamouseduh · 08/05/2017 10:33

rosegold ha! exactly! A mouse who won't eat babybel. Tells you something, don't you think?
