To ask about knickers?

Ha this could have been a very different thread as I initially typed knockers by mistake!!

So, am at home after surgery and doing a spot of online shopping.

I had cervical cancer 2 years ago, had radical hysterectomy and lymph node removal and bought loads of baggy comfy knickers to wear post surgery.

I am still wearing the damn things 2 years down the line Shock

So.... I need recommendations for comfy, pretty, possibly high waisted knick knacks. Do I go with the shorts, are high waisted good for little muffin tops?! Don't want tummy control or anything constricting.

Well done if you've got this far, now tell me about your undies please!

High waisted M&S.

Though I still have my post CS pants-they're bloody massive and very comfy Grin

Can't do click links :( but these are the business! (They sit higher than on model)

Mummamayhem · 04/05/2017 10:04

Oh maybe it worked!

I find high waisted are no good for stomach podge. No matter where they end there seems to be a line. My favourite ones are hipster shorts with lace at the waist, like these.

I love these Hema undies. www.hemashop.com/gb/shop/women/underwear-and-lingerie/knickers/figure-correcting-briefs-(99000004)?color=black

They also have good seamless microfibre knickers but I can't see them on the website.

Victoria's Secret. Love them. They're pretty, they're well made and they have lots of different styles including high waisted.

Oldraver · 04/05/2017 10:25

The best knickers I have had in recent years are 'big' cotton knickers from Aldi...They are like Sloggis, which in most senses are lovely, but have a horrible zigzaggy elastic on the legs which I find irritating. Aldi's have nice plain flat elastic

They aare now two/three years old and need replacing but I haven't seen Aldi have any more in. I've looked at similar knickers in Asda, Sainsbury's and M+S and they all have the same horrid elastic

Thanks all! Smile

I like M&S high waisted multipacks in cotton, they wash well and are really comfy. I also have some full pants that my nan bought me for Xmas, I wasn't convinced when I saw them because they look grannyish, but they are bloody comfy. They are m&s too.

Eatingcheeseontoast · 04/05/2017 13:05

I got some fat face cotton knickers - they are really good.

TinfoilHattie · 04/05/2017 13:10

I had a hysterectomy in December and my worst mistake was buying Primark big pants - they were scratchy, uncomfortable and a total waste of money. M&S all the way. Their basic packs of "full briefs" are great value and they do fancier ones too.

donajimena · 04/05/2017 13:12

Another vote for the marks high waist. I think they look fab on and hide a multitude of sins.

Ollivander84 · 04/05/2017 13:21

I second Victoria's Secret. And I'm not shaped remotely like their models Grin
I like the briefs, cotton and fit well
