Am I in the wrong?

Tonight I uploaded a photo of myself on twitter, I was only wearing a bra, but I cropped the top of my boobs out.

Basically all you can see is my face and bra straps over my arms.

Tonight my partner while I was asleep shouts "why are you uploading pictures in your fucking bra" I laid there for a second then said "what? You can't see my bra.. and I can do what I like"

I get maybe the I can do what I like might of been a bit uncalled for but you could not see my bra and having just woke up I thought Wtf!

It's your business what you upload and it wasn't an indecent image so no, YANBU.

44PumpLane · 03/05/2017 19:14

How ducking ridiculous of him- how did he know it was your bra and not a vest top or bikini top?

And so what if you want to upload a picture of your head and shoulders, it's hardly indecent is it!!

krustykittens · 03/05/2017 19:21

Head and shoulder shot is not indecent and plenty of vest tops have straps as thin as a bra strap! What would he have said if you were wearing an off the shoulder top?!

HermioneJeanGranger · 03/05/2017 19:23

Did he know you'd cropped it, or did he just see you taking a photo of yourself in your bra?

Well. Whether or not he has a point, that's no way to address it.

Thedogshadit · 03/05/2017 19:42

Thank you all! Yes I told him it was cropped and mentioned what krustykittens said, what if it was a off the shoulder top and he said nothing.

You can't see my boobs whatsoever.

Whats he like generally.

I once posted a photo of me in a strapless knee length dress. But it was a close up so you could only see head and shoulders. My mum went mad... Despite me being nearly 40.

Ahhh the curse of social media and the need for posting pictures.
