Incidentally I've just looked up the lyrics and it's one of the many songs that I have found out, through Google, that I've been singing wrong for decades.

Eg it's not "blue canary and the other by the light switch" or "like a laundry in Sinfon it doesn't rinse". (What the fuck would that even mean? I thought Sinfon must be some foreign town.)
