Help, what is this?

Posting for traffic. 3 year old. Had cold has couple of days, coughing lots. Welts all over body, appeared in last few hours - not there when she went to sleep. Was sick 48hours ago but not since.

Hives.
Fenistil drops.
Itchy and prevents sleeping.
Fenistil causes drowsiness.
Hope they are better soon. X

Not really to answer those asking if we got to the bottom of it. Saw the doctor yesterday morning who did all the usual checks, thought maybe viral, didn't prescribe anything. The welts still keep appearing sporadically all over but nowhere near as bad. Added earache to the mix last night. She's been a bit brighter today although half a banana at breakfast came back up so just kept her on fluids really. I'm less concerned than I was as she's not overly listless, she's well enough to be playing and being very stoic, even when she was being sick she was telling me she was ok. If it persists, she's still got a really chesty cough, then I might take her back on Friday but I'm hoping it will clear. Thanks for your concern x

Well doesn't seem that serious then. As said i think it might be worth trying a small dose of Piriton syrup if the welts are troubling her.
