In your opinion, and why?

Context is - ex has taken photo of dd (9) in bath.

I think she's too old for this. AIBU.

When they are no longer comfortable with it, i.e. When they start covering themselves up and no longer want to run naked through the house.
I'd never share bath pics no matter how young on social media.
I think I stopped bath pics about 4 with mine.

So you can't see anything that would be normally covered by clothing, the photo was taken by her dad and sent to her mum and she isn't bothered by it? Then absolute non issue really.

If he's taken it against her wishes or without her realising that he had taken it, if he'd sent it to a random friend, or posted it in the internet then yes that would be very wrong, it seems to me that he's just trying to involve you in something that you would've missed out on otherwise.

User who says my teens not being embarrassed by nudity is unacceptable, do you realise that some people go to nude beaches? that in Holland many saunas are nude and are shared by men, women, children, and teens? in Holland 9 or 10 year olds are often nude on regular beaches? Have you noticed that in some documentaries about non-Western people, there are lots of nearly naked people of all ages?

Yes, there are families who live in Western Europe and do not equate nudity with sex. There is nothing wrong with this, although it is slightly unconventional. There is nothing inherently shocking about people occasionally being naked in front of family members as long as no one is uncomfortable.

Riiiiiight right back atcha User Smile you're the one who thinks a parent seeing their young DS in the bath is weird and vice versa Grin

Very unsettling that people think this is odd. Mind you it appears to only be a small number of people.

When the child decides they're uncomfortable with it. There's nothing bad with being naked in front of your family and taking funny pictures. As long as you don't plaster them on social media. But then again, I'm continental Grin
