More 'am I being over sensitive'

Had an interview earlier this week and was offered a position. I got some really lovely feedback including that I am a 'wonderful role model.'

Relayed this to DH later who laughed rather unpleasantly I think.

Am I being prickly or should I talk to him about it?

Ask him what he meant. Was he doing it in a jokey way? I'd consider myself a good role model at work - I work hard, am organised, approachable, etc. But that is my 'work effort' - outside of work I definitely am not as chirpy or positive! My OH would also laugh if I got told I was a good role model but that is because he sees me warts and all and doesn't know what I'm like at work.

Just ask him what he meant - it might not have been intended to be mean.
