Singing builder

We live in a terrace, house next door is empty and the landlord has builders round doing some minor work. I was so pleased not to hear any noise from the work as I work from home and it's my busiest time of year.

However, yesterday and today a new crew member has arrived and he sings at the top of his voice all day everyday. It's comical really, we've had everything from a crap opera voice to Robbie Williams.

As funny as it might be, it's really really distracting. I don't know why he's doing it, it's so loud as well! And there are other builders who seemingly ignore it

Buy a BGT buzzer and buzz him when you feel it appropriate!

I would go and explain to him politely that you wfh and could he please not sing.

Write numbers from 1-10 on a4 sheets of paper and mark watch song when he finishes
Just ask him if he would keep his voice down a bit, he might not realise how loud he is.

Yes tell him he can have 1 hour per day for singing. The rest of the time he must be silent haha. Bear in mind if you shut him up they may just replace him with a radio.

Sorry OP it must be tiresome. When they stop for lunch, go round, be nice - say you work from home and can hear him singing very clearly but you have something you absolutely have to finish so could he please hum take it down a notch or two , thanks very much.
