Me or MIL?

Just wanted to sleep, but the exertion has woken me up Smile

6 pillows, 4 cushions, a duvet, a thick throw type duvet, and a throw!

There is one chair in the bedroom - where do I put everything??

Floor!

I hate fussy beds!

DancingLedge · 22/04/2017 21:58

The floor, the floor

Mustardnowletsnotbesilly · 22/04/2017 21:58

DH's side.

DD0314 · 22/04/2017 21:59

Floor! Beds are for sleeping on, not looking pretty.

highinthesky · 22/04/2017 21:59

You might want to consider the utility of the excess pillows and cushions in suffocating MIL Grin

123andBreathe · 22/04/2017 22:03

Naughty high Grin

She's not a bad MIL though.

123andBreathe · 22/04/2017 22:04

I can't bring myself to throw it all on the floor though.

Fold the throw neatly stack pillows and cushions on top before placing neatly on the floor... the neatness will salve your guilt l would just chuck them in a heapGrin

Use them to prop yourself into an unusual sexual position. Last laugh and all!

Huldra · 22/04/2017 22:08

If your husband snores put them on his face.

MuncheysMummy · 22/04/2017 22:11

God this is like my mums house! Staying over drives me mad having to move a fecking ton of fancy crap before we can get in! Pretty but SO unnecessary

123andBreathe · 22/04/2017 22:14

Plainly I am following your advice - will be back in 10 minutes to update with a tower pic.

Whilst following I have now found this too - a sheet!

MIL's bed.

Thinkingblonde · 22/04/2017 22:17

I blame the Next catalogue. Our neighbour is Nexts best customer, every room in her house looks like a page from it.

BouleBaker · 22/04/2017 22:20

Gah! So annoying! We have the same. A room full of beautiful furniture that you have to walk sideways round and nowhere to put a bag or all the excessive bedding on the bed. Throw it in the hall and barricade yourselves in.

123andBreathe · 22/04/2017 22:34

It's all piled up on DH's side. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he doesn't need the loo in the night, because they will fall on the dressing table - it has lots of thing on it too!

PMSL at the enormous, neatly piled stack.

Are you going to leave it there to impress her when you leave??

Oakmaiden · 22/04/2017 22:42

Maybe she wanted to find out if you are a real princess? Have you checked under the mattress?

BouleBaker · 22/04/2017 22:43

Definitely leave it all there when you leave.

As a hint.

123andBreathe · 22/04/2017 22:43

I might NotMyPenguin

She's away ATM, I just snuck into her room, and there are 12 cushions/pillows on her bed!

NonDomina · 22/04/2017 22:44

That is a most satisfying heap. Well done you.

DustOffYourHighestHopes · 22/04/2017 22:45

This is my MIL too. I throw it in a heap on DH's side.

GloriaV · 22/04/2017 22:45

Tell her that 50s/or 60s/ or 70s style is back ie one bedspread on the bed - and nothing else!

DustOffYourHighestHopes · 22/04/2017 22:45

She comes in each morning and puts it back on the bed...
