To give a leaflet back?

My first AIBU!......oh & bugger off daily mail!!

As I was doing my makeup in my bedroom window this morning, a cat pulls up over the road with stickers all over advertising it's leaflet drop service.
A man and woman get out with a handful of leaflets & begin to cross over towards the houses, the man spots the 2 notices on my front door that state 'no junk mail'.
He reads it, points to it and speaks to the woman then walks up the drive and post a leaflet, ignoring the signs.

Was I unreasonable to go and stuff the leaflet under their windscreen wipers with a note saying 'next time read the 'No junk mail' signs!

And that should clearly state 'a car' not 'a cat'!

I don't think this is going to end up in the Daily Mail .

I'd have just binned it and thought no more of it. Seems an awful lot of angst to go through just over a leaflet.

Maybe it's time for a third notice on your door I guess that they didn't think it was junk mail, more mass-marketing.
