Infertility - winchester

Hi,

I posted on the infertility board but there doesn't seem to be much traffic there. I have been TTC for 18 months and have been referred to an infertility specialist at Winchester (RHCH). Has anyone received treatment here? What happens at the initial appointment and what treatment is available here? Im finding conflicting info on the internet. Worrying about it already which doesn't bode well! Ultimately I hear so many scare stories that I would love to receive any tips or things to enquire about in advance and I know each trust is different.

Our friends had a poor experience via portsmouth QA fertility services. They moved home and were able to then be referred to winchester and were finally after 8 years diagnosed with the reason why they could not conceive. Winchester could not believe they had not previously been diagnosed. We also had a poor experience at QA and so did other friends of ours. So good luck at winchester they seem to be better there.
