Background -
He left when DD was 2 weeks old.
Daughter has a life limiting condition in which she spends more time in hospital than out.
There is a long distance between us and ex.
So he comes down to see toddler aged DD maybe 2/3 times a year.
However he very rarely calls inbetween and I find myself contacting him more to update him.
This time I have not updated him although we are back in hospital and have not contacted him in 6 weeks and have not heard a single peep from him.
When he is here he acts like father of the year and that she is his world.
He often explains to people that he works hard to support her and his proud of how us as parents work together ( he gives me 50 pound a month )
When I question him on not ringing he always says its because he has not got the time with working.
When I ask why he can not help me out a little bit more financially he says it is because he is not getting enough hours.
Surely when dads live with their kids and work they would not have no time to even say hello to their kids ?
