Man look (light hearted!)

AIBU to feel I waste a hell of a lot of time helping my OH find things right in front of his nose? Example today 'i can't find my light coloured shorts' I knew full well where they were as I'd put them in a specific place in the wardrobe where all his shorts are. He had been in for a 'man look' and yep there they were, just happened to be hung over the rail instead of on a hangover Grin every morning I run up and downstairs to find his keys despite them being exactly where he left them but perhaps a couple of inches to the left. Is this normal? Smile I then get the blame for moving them even though he put them there!

Oh, so much bullshit. EVEN IF it were true that men were the hunters and women gatherers and that's not a myth dreamed up by modern societies seeking historical validation for modern gender roles, anybody out hunting needs to be hyperaware of the predator, or the rival hunting group, that's approaching in the corner of their eye. Not to mention needing to be aware of the movements of others within your own group if you're after something big like a bison.

If housework were valued as "men's work" then it would be canon that men are simply better at looking for odd socks because of their hunter backgrounds while women, who had the bright patches of berries to find, are too easily distracted by bright colours to be capable of finding socks Wink
