Dh took dd (5) camping overnight last night, various friends (dads) and their kids. Sounded fun. I stayed behind with ds (2).

They left at 12 yesterday, I rang at 5.30pm just to check all was well (campsite 40mins away). Ive not heard anything since. No quick text to say shed slept ok or rough idea of when theyd be back.

Im not neurotic, so dont need regular updates, just a quick "we are ok! See u later"

No you're not. I would want to know too but you'll get loads of "she's with her DAD! Don't you trust him?!" Blah blah blah.

Haha and I totally do, we are 50/50 with everything so he is more than capable. Doesnt stop me being interested in whether she slept ok.

Maybe the camp site has a poor phone signal?

They were there when I rang at teatime yesterday tho and connected fine.
