To think if you want to have a conversation with your children, an expensive theatre isn't the time to have it.

why do people talk all the way through a play? Yes it's a kids play, yes you expect a certain level of noise, no there wasn't anything visibly wrong with the children, no I don't know that they didn't have some kind of hidden disability, yes I'm fairly sure that there was no reason they had to talk all the way through something I've been really looking forward to.

Genuinely wondering if I'm being unreasonable. Had it in my head what would people say if I started a thread in here. Do you just have to accept this?

Did you say anything to them?

Pukepukepuke · 08/04/2017 20:54

I did. I Waited for 20 minutes and then shushed them very obviously and very pointedly with my finger on my lips when all three were aware I was looking at them.

Performance parenting?

YABU, it was a theatre. It's just the place to perform.
