Would you bet on a race where human beings fell and broke their legs or necks and had to be shot? At least they would have consented. Horses cannot consent to this life.

And the trainers do love those horses. My friend worked at Newmarket. She got very attached to a horse named lucky 7. It had a blaze on its head shaped like the number 7.

It was too young to gallop. The ages they start them at is a fucking disgrace. The bones are soft and not fully formed. She was on the gallops one day and heard a big snap. The horse went from underneath her. It was later destroyed.

Her story is one of many.

Because they're shouty and name-cally. Any thread where the OP says that if you don't agree with them you're a murdering animal abuser is going to be a bit of a bun fight. I actually agree with them, but my dislike of their ways means I have to not let them think they've won.

So, lets do the race but with human people instead. We could call it a people-chase. 2 people per team like a pantomime horse. We just hollow out some horses that are no longer wanted and use the skins.
