I think the countries "supporting" the air strike are just saying so because what else can they say? Its hard to tread the line between not supporting the strike and supporting Russia and Assad.

It may actually be that it would take much longer and be more difficult to impeach Trump than it would be to 'target' the Senate/House races. If we can get a Dem majority (preferably in the Senate) then we can effectively neuter him when it comes to major domestic policy. Obvs we can't keep him from launching penis substitutes missiles but at least there could be an official censure resolution if he does.
