Spitting

Bobbins43 · 06/04/2017 18:20

Am sitting in our small local playground with my son and there is only one other man and his son here. The man has not stopped hawking and spitting since they got here, about 20 minutes ago. Every five minutes or so, there's more throats clearing and phlegm and spitting.

This isn't normal behaviour now, is it?

I'm afraid I think it is. It is bloody disgusting and absolutely turns my stomach. I always have to say something if someone does it near me.

I hate seeing goz and greenies on the path.

It's on par, if not worse than dog sit.

Spitting is a disgusting habit, especially where young children are playing. Yuk
yanbu

It's foul. One of our NDNs does it, last summer he was always out in the garden coughing and hawking...I could hear it on DS' baby monitor as well as hearing it myself downstairs so it must have been loud! Grubby beast.

I can't stand spitting- it's absolutely vile and absolutely unnecessary.
I'm 5 months pregnant atm, hated it before, but am currently so sensitive to things that gross me out that I end up dry heaving over it.
Unfortunately it is so common where I live that the VERY long road leading to my local station is covered in spite every 2-3 metres. The journey is now torture as it takes twice as long because I have to keep stopping to stop myself from throwing up and attempt to recompose myself Sad

It's disgusting. I don't think anyone's going to disagree with you. Dh does it and i turned a blind eye in a place where it was normal but he won't get away with it in the countryside. Yuk!!
