To be cross over random woman touching my child

Husband took DD2 & DS out shopping for school stuff today. After returning home it was eventually dropped into the conversation that a lady pretty much pushed my son out of her way, no 'excuse me', sod all! My husband said he felt he could not say anything as she was female (fair enough). I'm just so annoyed that strangers think its ok to do that! He's 10 and is used to socially awkward situations as one of my other DDs has autism.

Why can your husband not speak to females?

Shitonmyshoe · 03/04/2017 01:08

He can Agent, he was cross and bit his tongue. Didn't want to have an altercation with a female on her own

Your title is a bit misleading.
That being said, well you can be cross, but there's not a lot you can do about it. The time and place was in the shop while she behaved like a dick.

Exactly Rebel. Wish I were there and all that 😞

At best, it's sounds like she was in a hurry and no kids herself.

Don't let this bigger you for a second longer. Instead, use the opportunity to reinforce to DS that it is polite to say "excuse me", which I'm sure he knows anyway.

I tower over small children, and often their mothers seem oblivious to their own spacial awareness. And gentle and considerate "excuse me, darling" or "stay with mummy" to the child always gets a positive response. Then again it might help that I'm female!

^bother you!

I've been accused of pushing a child out of the way when in fact the kid has been standing in a thoroughfare with parents oblivious to the build up of human traffic. I gently ushered child out of way to get past and got a mouthful.
