To set this car on fire (parking with pics and diagram)

We have been out all day working, I left at 8 and have just picked my boys up to take them home to bed. We came home at the same time (2 cars) and someone has parked across our drive blocking one of our parking spaces. We've managed to get one car on but sort of in the middle of our two spaces and the other car is a few roads away. I don't mind parking and walking but we pay a lot in rent for a property with a driveway with two spaces. I feel I should be able to use it!!!
I've had a bad day anyway so probably seeing red and over reacting but come on, why do people fucking do this Sad

On the photo the red star marks where the dropped kerb to allow access to our driveway begins.
On the diagram the pink cunt is the car. Our houses are link detached. The green is the only bit if verge on the whole road. The rest is all dropped kerb for the parking spaces on people's drives. The verge bit has a proper kerb but is no way long enough to have a car on without blocking either me or ND2.

You won't win the award for the shortest lines though Grin

(Just don't forget the end penpendiculars or they're not legal apparently).

I was just about to suggest a potato too, I wasn't going to suggest sugar in the fuel tank

MrsCobain · 02/04/2017 01:17

I parked literally an inch (the bumper not the wheel) over a dropped kerb once and came out of my house 25 minutes later and the car had gone. Took me £300 to get it back. I went round and hammered on their door and they came to the window, gave me the Vs and laughed. Fuuuuuuuuuuck. 😡

emmyrose2000 · 02/04/2017 03:30

Just call the police. Hopefully they'll arrange to tow it away, or at the very least leave them a huge fine. Where I live, it's illegal to block a driveway.

Andrewofgg · 02/04/2017 07:46

Fuel tanks are locked these days.

youarenotkiddingme · 02/04/2017 08:02

Not only do you Get full marks for a diagram you get more for the use of the neon pink cunt sign!

Are they still there?

BillyButtfuck · 02/04/2017 08:27

Morning! I over slept and have to leave for work in 20 minutes so short but sweet update, they are still there Angry

BillyButtfuck · 02/04/2017 09:01

I'll be home at 1ish. If they are still there I'm going to call and get them towed. Fuckers.

It can take a few hours to tow, I'd get your husband to call now. It could be an arsehole, my parents drive attracted those. It could also be stolen and dumped, my friend called 101 on one that was badly parked on her dropped curb and the police were happy to have found it.

WatchHowISoar · 02/04/2017 09:38

More likely an arsehole though.

SilverDragonfly1 · 02/04/2017 09:56

I recognise that drive from a previous thread. I'm sure people pointed out then that your drive doesn't look like a drive because of the placement of the lawn, poor condition of the kerb and the blurring between your garden and the verge. That doesn't make it okay to park over a dropped kerb! But I reckon the people doing it think you're cheekily using your front garden as a drive rather than it being 'official' and so feel justified in, as they imagine, asserting their rights.

SilverDragonfly1 · 02/04/2017 10:00

Meant to say I think I recognise it, not suggesting I am some kind of memory whizz!!

BillyButtfuck · 02/04/2017 20:47

It was gone when I got home and parked on the driveway of one of the houses opposite.
One of the ones who didn't answer the door last night!

DP was home when the owner came to move it and went out and asked her why she was parked over our drive all night and morning and she said she was visiting a friend and there was no where else to park. DP said that doesn't mean she can just park over our driveway and she said there were no cars there so she assumed we were away for the weekend Hmm
Apparently she was very non apologetic and all smiles saying it'll be gone in a minute no harm done.

All's well that ends well I suppose but I still think people are bloody cheeky.

Go over and tell them that if they do it again you will set fire to it Grin

HereThereThen · 02/04/2017 21:18

BillyButtfuck · 02/04/2017 21:24

If she's parked in a neighbours drive - get your car and block her in....

She has if she thinks it's so unimportant then it won't be an issue.

MrTCakes · 02/04/2017 21:45

Yes go and block her in now, please.

BillyButtfuck · 02/04/2017 21:58

I really really want to 🙊

Bahhhhhumbug · 02/04/2017 22:28

Well now you know who it is there is no excuse not to kill her. I would just for the smarmy PA smiling response fuck l hate people who do that Then send a H bar shaped wreath in white flowers. Or just send the wreath and tap side of your nose next time you see her.

BillyButtfuck · 02/04/2017 22:34

She's still there so I wonder if she is staying for a few nights and I might get a chance to meet her Grin I'll go and do some gardening out the front tomorrow, sweep the road, wash my car, and just generally loiter out the front.
