Lost my much loved cat Scratch on 28th January but now her (can cats have a?) niece has a lovely black and white kitten who I am falling for. Needs to be unisex name dd1 likes "Badger" but DH and I think it doesn't suit. Mums name Fireball, Dads name Whiskey

Dante for the kitten

I had a Great Uncle Robert who was known as Bertie and I soooo regret not using the name for Ds3.

Sambuca- with Sammy for short?
Just thought of flaming sambuca with fireball and whiskey for parents.

Dave.

Not exactly unisex but hey ho. Love 'Dave the cat' as a full name Grin

I like Badger. I love animals named after other animals.

I also like the suggestion of Tonic. I knew someone who used to give their cats "cat" names. They had Tonic (catatonic), Lister (catalyst), and Clizzy (cataclysmic).

She's looks tiny, OP. I presume she's not ready for rehoming yet?

My friends cat was Seal and another had Weasel.

I like Badger too. What about Otto? Rowan? Pixie? Leaf? Twig? Starling?

Im getting a bit carried away with the nature theme Grin

Taggart (for a grey)
Magpie (for a black/white)
Talisman

notanother one of our male guinea-pigs is called "Bert" (full name Herbert ) its a nice adaptation of Bertie Grin

But I think Bert for humans is an older man name , Bertie is more youthful .

Floki

I know Floki is a male character but the name is so cute for a kitten
