I find it sad that it was such a "distant" picture. Arms crossed, airbrushed. You'd think they would try to "humanise" her more and warm the photo up with a more relaxed or candid pose to make her appear more accessible. And the background is just an odd choice. I would never have picked it out as a "planned" individual picture.

Nobody will go for military action against Syria, particularly as Russia is their ally and has forces in that country.

At best, they will go for UN sanctions, or sponsor resistance groups, as they have in the past.

The risk for Assad is that if he's ever toppled and has to flee the country, he'll go straight for The Hague court.
