After all, based on statistics many European countries have much more to fear from us in terms of violence than we have to fear from them. Not that I blame them. I'd like to see Trump being 'extremely vetted' when he pays a visit overseas. Better yet, I'd like to see him 'extremely vetted' on his return flight and denied entry!!!

Meaning...he attacked Obama (via Twitter of course) numerous times during Obama's presidency about ME sanctions, arming and foreign policy. The man is a flat-out idiot.

As a family we are scattered across the world (USA, Australia & U.K.), and we've taken regular trips to the USA - and enjoyed our time immensely.
I would be very uneasy about traveling there right now (have already decided to travel elsewhere this year),... even though we are white/northern European with no obvious religion. One look at our online activity and we might be sent back home again on the next plane - long email discussions about politics and the madness of the whole trump movement, the legality of his behaviour etc.
I'm concerned that it's turning into a situation where anyone being anti-Trump administration/policies is going to be judged as being anti-American and a threat.
If we were going I think we'd be doing a massive purge on all our accounts, messages, emails, deactivate fb and set up another account a few months before? Isn't that what anyone who was ACTUALLY a threat to the USA do?

I watched part of the interview of Ivanka Trump. Couldn't stomach the rest. It's pretty obvious that she is complicit and is choosing her words carefully and trying to project just the right image. They are trying to recreate the Kennedys' Camelot years or, in Trump's mind, a monarchy. She is right on board, but careful not to come out and say it. And she is clearly not above lying about her father and his character traits.

In fact, re the interview, it kind of appeared that she knew the questions ahead of time and prepared the answers. Seemed very scripted.
