Our local MP campaigned for Leave and there are plenty of people locally who think the sun shines out of his arse purely because he's one of the good old boys from back in the mining days. IMO he's an ignorant fucker who is only interested in his constituency when there's a photo opportunity or votes to be had.

One of the biggest local employers is closing due to Brexit, they're switching operations abroad, and a lot of people around here are going to be made redundant when it happens. He (and his cronies) are "saddened" and "shocked". They fucking voted for this! I want to give a to everyone who voted for it.

Goodness Sadly I think that sums it up for a lot of people, particularly, and it pains me to say this, on the left.

Because this mess has all been caused by the "Little England" mentality - which I've been fortunate enough not to come across very much
