Smartiepants79 · 28/03/2017 18:39

Of course some people will have to be resigned!
Those of us who voted against and are still gutted that the outcome was for brexit have little choice but to try and be resigned.
Sadly, it's happening whether we want it to or not.

Also ashamed to be British

Yes. I loved my British passport, but my Irish EU one has now taken on a special meaning. Why?

Depressed.

Jazzywazzydodah · 28/03/2017 18:58

Its just swaping one bunch of crooks for another one - but the way the EU was going made me feel uncomfortable, too much power for drunk old men.

Im not ashamed to be British that's just being dramatic.

itsawonderfulworld · 28/03/2017 19:02

Don't be (said as an EU citizen here for 20 years). Being British is something to be very proud of. Rather be like several of my friends who at Saturday's wonderful march celebrating peace, unity, collaboration and tolerance stated: "Proud to be European. Proud to be British. Ashamed to be English."

Because this mess has all been caused by the "Little England" mentality - which I've been fortunate enough not to come across very much. I love Great Britain but will never feel at home in Little England. I'm so glad that my family and I have options but I feel incredibly sad for my lovely English and British friends who don't. And for fellow EU citizens with British families who now feel trapped in a country where they've previously always felt welcome.

Can you say some more about this?

itsawonderfulworld · 28/03/2017 19:02

Thank you Elendon Flowers

armpitz · 28/03/2017 19:03

Little England is bad but little Scotland presumably is OK?

Iris65 · 28/03/2017 19:03
