Sean Hannity getting told he is bad for America

TrueBlueDem · 26/03/2017 20:28

Lweji, are you talking about Trump possibly joining with the Democrats? I hope to God not. I'm fine with elected Dems taking advantage of his weak spots for our (Dems) and the country's good, but I don't want him in our Party. He used to actually be a registered Democrat, then was a registered Independent. I don't care what he's registered as, he has committed treason and he needs to go down and take any GOP who have their hands dirty with him.
No Dem is going to welcome Trump.

merrymouse · 26/03/2017 20:29

I can't imagine the Democrats welcoming Trump after the shit he pulled on Hillary in the election.

There's also the whole 'Obama bad or sick guy' thing.

Also, Trump would have to start caring about policy. There's lots of evidence that Trump wants to attend rallies and talk about jobs, but not much evidence that he wants to actually create American jobs, even in his own company.

TrueBlueDem · 26/03/2017 20:30

Sean Hannity is a shitstain on the face of humanity.

smashedinductionhob · 26/03/2017 20:31

True courage in Russia.

John McCain makes it his business to get their voice heard I understand?

Lweji · 26/03/2017 20:33

Lweji, are you talking about Trump possibly joining with the Democrats?

Not seriously, and I know the Democrats would tell him to FOTTFSOFAFOSM, but his talk of working with the Democrats and his criticism of GOP was weird.

BTW, spare a prayer for Alexei Navalny and that he doesn't try to escape from prison via a window on a high floor.

merrymouse · 26/03/2017 20:34

I don't think he would join the democrats, (can presidents change party?) but he could agree to support democrat policy (e.g. Co-operation on spending on infrastructure).

However, given that democrats are in the minority, for that to be useful he would also have to bring republicans with him. That doesn't seem likely at the moment.

cozietoesie · 26/03/2017 20:34

Interesting article by Ted Koppel.

Facts

AcrossthePond55 · 26/03/2017 20:35

Trump's 'work with the Dems' comment smacks very much of "You didn't play my way, so I'm going to take my ball and go straight home!!!" to the GOP. To tell the truth, they're probably all hoping he does!

I had no idea that Epshteyn was Soviet born. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Or better and better depending on your point of view!

Lweji · 26/03/2017 20:41

Hannity was notoriously upset, I think. And so disrespectful to keep interrupting Koppel.

I keep coming back to the notion of unintended consequences: Putin screwing with democracy shined a light right back on his dictatorship.

Lweji · 26/03/2017 20:46

can presidents change party?

Trump is not a normal President.

I do wonder what he'd (will?) do if the Democrats win a Senate or even a House majority at the next election.

cozietoesie · 26/03/2017 20:50

It did indeed, Pain.

Roussette · 26/03/2017 20:51

This is just ridiculous and gobsmacking isn't it...

www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2017/03/26/nearly-one-out-of-every-three-days-he-has-been-president-trump-has-visited-a-trump-property/?utm_term=.51c33afb4247

So this weekend, when he's not playing golf, he's watching golf in the clubhouse. And apparently he is billing the Administration for his attendance (plus security staff and his entourage having to stay there too) at Trump properties. Can he get any more sleazy Shock. No wonder he doesn't take his salary, no need, he's making $$$$ from all of this.

He's hosting the China PM at MaraLago too. What's the WH really for, I thought that's where visiting dignitaries went, not some Trump beach and golf resort. He made $150,000 this weekend renting out a ballroom for a fundraiser at MaraLago. Where's the ethics committee or whatever you call them?

And this... advertising of the worst sort. www.politico.com/story/2017/03/trump-mar-lago-winter-white-house-republican-gala-236505

He's just cashing in big time.

Do we start a new one or let our foreign posters start one in the early hours Grin

TrueBlueDem · 26/03/2017 20:56

Lweji, I didn't know Epshteyn was born in the USSR. He could very well be a sleeper agent, who knows in the current corrupt WH shit show. He certainly is a total asshole (Google video of him, such a douche).

That said, I have many friends who were born in the former Soviet Union (there's a huge Russian community where I live, in the States) who would never step foot back there (most of them had refugee status to come here because they are Jewish, many in the late 80's and early to mid 90's). They love where they came from and their people, but also love the life they were able to build in the US. And they're def not fans of Putin.

But Epshteyn? I could totally believe it because he's Trump quality.

cozietoesie · 26/03/2017 20:57

Go for a new one now/soon, I think, ego. Smile

TrueBlueDem · 26/03/2017 20:58

It's 3:57 pm here on the East Coast in the States. :) By the time my kids are in bed and I have more time to comment, you guys are in bed too! :( :( :(
As for starting a new thread, go for it! :)

Lweji · 26/03/2017 20:58

No wonder he doesn't take his salary, no need

Hmmmm...

He's taking it an supposedly looking into donating it, but that's according to Angry Spice. It was earlier on this or another thread.

Spice was apparently jesting. Tough - it's been said now. Grin

egosumquisum1 · 26/03/2017 20:59

Give it time.

Just out of interest, did the clocks change in the US as well last night?

Major prayers for Alexei Navalny! :( I hope he doesn't end up like many others have in the last month.
