To think it's abhorrent that Germany are deporting someone to Nigeria even though they've never been there

Sorry but if your born in a country how can you ever be deported elsewhere based on your parents origins?

Well, unless you want a Guantanamo style system he can't be kept in prison without charge indefinitely. So if he has to be free I'd say an electronic tag in Germany would be better than free in Nigeria

Why are you assuming he'll be free in Nigeria?

It's the same in the UK. I believe the US and Canada are the only western countries not to determine your citizenship on your parents' passports

I highly doubt he will be free to walk off the plane in Nigeria!

You think? Oh. I thought he would be because the crime was committed in Germany therefore against the German people and TBH I thought Nigeria probably has enough shit going on without worrying about crimes committed abroad. You do have a point though, maybe you're right!!?

If he does 'disappear' on return to Nigeria, I think that would be very wrong, although I'd struggle to get that upset about it. Obviously shouldn't happen though.
