He didn't react to the shooting in the Canadian mosque.

Well, in the last 24 hours we've had a bomb attack in NI (thank god didn't kill anyone). And now there's this stabbing and possible car attack in London, attacker unknown.

So which will Trump tweet about? And will he wait until the London assailant is known before he does?

And I'd offer bets, but I don't think anyone would take them...

If it's not about himself, then someone else will have drafted it for him.

If Trump tries to get mileage out of what's happened this afternoon, I will be furious. He seems to enjoy doing that with any European country (including Sweden) to try and validate his muslim ban.

Well, I'm back from my getaway. But I'm not going to make some trite holiday post.

I just want to send my thoughts and prayers to the victims and families and to tell you lovely UK based vipers on this thread that you I am thinking of you.

We have more in common that we have differences. And at times like these we realize it more than ever.

Our trip was wonderful. No Trump!!! We rode rides, ate too much, and just enjoyed being together, Mum and Son.

My London lot have now mostly made contact, including the one at a meeting very near the bridge at the time. But she was safe indoors.

Ginger, in the 1990s I was about 500 m from one of the white supremacist bombs in London, and the little park where I sometimes sat out with my lunch was used as the casualty station.

Same as you - knew nothing about it till I got home and saw it on the news. Even that close, it had been lost in the usual noise of London.

Ginger, Baroque Hoedown is the name of the music. It's actually my ring tone!! MSEP is back at Disneyland Calif for a limited time. One of the reasons I'm so glad my son decided to take me up on the trip offer now as it 'glows away' in June! He got a bit of a laugh when I started crying (happy tears) at the announcement 'Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Disneyland proudly presents........". I've always loved that parade and it was so wonderful to experience it again!

London commuter - lots of police presence around. So sad and upset for the people involved and the awful feeling in the air.

Across oooh thanks for the name of the music! I may have to look for that! We saw it a number of times when dc1 was young, but now we live in the UK, so not likely to see it for ages. I do have the parade on video as we took our video camera one year. Will have to dig it out and watch it.

Anyway, back to subject - thought I'd post this as we were discussing the possibility that the laptop ban had something to do with those Middle East airlines that were getting subsidies and that was upsetting some of the US airlines... ?
