We have been through lots of scans and tests lately as my baby doesn't look well! We dont have a diagnosis yet as the amnio came back fine, still waiting for the MRI results, but at all scans since 20w (had 3 since then, now I m 25w) showed that the baby is not developing normal! I shared the news only with some closed friends but cant see myself telling to my mum and dad! I know this will break their hearts, they live abroad so we only speak by phone or social media! AIBU not telling them, we only wait and hope that the baby will look better in the next following weeks

LightDrizzle, u got me wrong, I had the MRI 2 weeks ago, today only went back for the results and a growth scan! The growth scan was done by the lady she usually takes my blood pressure!

I had my husband everytime with me since everything started to go wrong, but on Tuesday is so difficult for him to come, the timing is so bad that he needs 2 days off, we need to stay overnight in London as I am not able to drive back home at the same day(he has no licence) I ll have one of my friend, but she wont come in as she has to look after my daughter and her 2 daughters! I hope they dont have bad news, as last time they saw me, when they reffered me to MRI they said if is something very bad they will call me earlier! Next week will be 3 weeks since I had the MRI! I hope is not just silly me trying to stay positive

How did it go yesterday OP? Hope you're doing okay.

Hard to say... Not what I was expecting! I feel like the reality finaly hit me, I am confused, upset, devastated... I choose to stop going to London for any other investigations as no matter what we are commited to the baby! I guess that my due date will be a very emotional one, but meanwhile I want to enjoy the weeks I ve got left of pregnancy and not giving anymore stress to my baby! We ll take every day as it comes and I ll always think that the hope dies last!

Sorry the news wasn't better, but now you have time to come to terms with everything and make a plan ready to welcome your baby :-)

Sorry to hear that to OP, but good plan on enjoying the last few weeks as much as you can. It sounds like you're in for a bit of a rollercoaster, but your little one is so lucky to have you by their side unconditionally, and they'll be just perfect no matter what. Good luck with it all Flowers

Hey OP, I know this thread's been quiet for a long while now, but just thought I'd pop on on the off chance you're still about and see how you're doing?
