Off skiing in a couple of weeks. DS7 is naught adventurous and last year went off looking for me. Luckily the teacher saw him and pulled him back to class. So I'm a bit worried and anxious. Thinking of buying a GPS tracker or watch. Is that a bit bloody OTT? Has anyone else bought one? Looking at reviews on Amazon they seem to be really unreliable so don't want to get stung for a crap bit of kit either!

Don't leave him then if you have doubts. My neice is really naughty too & won't behave on holiday even under supervision so we watch her like a hawk.

I've been using Watchu, it's perfect for holidays and after keeping tabs on and 8yo and 4yo it's perfect to give the elder a little bit of freedom (although never too far) and you can track them on the app, plus they can call you and you them. A really useful bit of kit and kind of a stepping stone to a mobile phone, without access to the internet which is perfect! The little one loves his too, mainly to be like his big bro!
