AIBU not to like (in fact detest ) cold shoulder tops and dresses

Oh god, they're everywhere right now, either cold shoulder tops or things covered in stupid embroidered flowers. No YANBU.

I'm with you. I get a Bardot top and used to wear these in the 80's but the cut away shoulders in a short sleeve top thing makes me shudder.

All clothes seem to be full of holes and 'moth eaten' at the minute. Give me a Joules harbour top and (non knee hole) jeans anyway

I would worry that if I was still half asleep when getting dressed i might stick my head in the wrong hole and get in a rIght muddle. I struggle enough with those vests with the built in support bits.

Those vests always have the "support" shelf bit far too low for me.

Yes and when the support bit is a separate panel, well, it's like a one woman wrestling match.

I was just looking at someone wearing a cold shoulder top the other day thinking the textile/design industry must be pissing themselves that so many women have bought into the fashion.

Yeah they're awful. Dp pointed at a woman earlier and told me I'd look nice in the dress she was wearing. It was a cold shoulder dress so now I'm ltb.

YADNBU! They're hideous, and the cheap material they tend to be made from is vile too!

I love them! Then again I have a tattoo on my upper arm and it looks great with the top...

Ugh. I want to wear a proper bra, thanks. See also the trend to have virtually backless dresses. What are you meant to do if you need support?
