Ok it's been deleted. Just wanted to say I thought that thread was great. Just showing that not all of us are like that and anyone out there who is alone and is a bit shy about connecting with others there are some/most of us out there who will smile back, share a coffee and make small talk. Don't be put off.

It was a pbp. Too obvious to be anything other than trolling. But there are plenty of people that rude/clique obsessed. They're just not so blatant when they give their side of the story!

Highly agree, I'm pretty quiet and socially awkward. I have one fantastic mum friend, but I see so many other mums similar to the OP (of the other thread) that put you off approaching anyone else. Especially for a 'young mum' (25, but apparently look 16!) it is hard taking that first step, for fear of judgement or rejection. I hope she's realises just how UB she was being. Hopefully no one has been put off making mum friends, by the original thread!
