To wish schools didn't want change every 5 minutes!

Two primary dcs and it's constant needing £2 here £3 there for trips, snack money, costume days, charity, making mothers/Father's Day cards etc.

I don't mind paying for these things of course, but why can't you pay online so you don't have to go to the cash machine, get money out then break into it, or queue at the bank for ages.

It's the constant need for pound coins for the exact change that frustrates me!

We have an online payment system but it's only used for music lessons or school lunch.

Are all schools like this?

Charity stuff - yes pay on cash

All school stuff we pay online

All our change goes in a pot which we use for school things, bus fares, car parking etc. The post office will give you a bag if £1 coins in place of a £20 note.
