I was at my lowest ebb last night and I reached out, posting my thoughts and my intentions (suicidal). The responses all pointed me to talk to the Samaritans, which I did. I needed to express my thoughts and my intentions and I needed a reaction - positive - which I received. So I just wanted to create this thread to say thank you.

I'm in a dark place at the moment but it isn't as dark as it was last night. I'm going to work through this.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a normally temporary problem.

Well done ripples ;) as a pp said phone the bank and explain what's happening with all the charges, they have special departments these days for people who are experiencing financial hardship and they will help you sort it out.
You write with eloquence, I admire that.
As you said, many people are marginalised in society, or fall by the wayside in the pursuit of profits over all else. It does have to stop. I hope some of your faith in humanity has been restored after reading the responses to your posts. Keep your chin up and Good luck!
