So, who wrote it? What were they prepping for? Any guesses as to the non U.K. Items? I have to admit to not recognising a couple of things. Anyone want to play??

Scones
Scotch fingers (shortbread?)

Pantyliners
?? stuff

Jiff (probably Cif or perhaps lemon juice)

Panadols

Ham (naiceness not specified)

Apples
Cucumber

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 13/03/2017 09:43

Fruit ?

RedBullBlood · 13/03/2017 09:43

Scotch fingers are shortbread biscuits.
Jiff is the same as Cif.
Uglies??

RedBullBlood · 13/03/2017 09:44

Oh, and Shapes are small flavoured crackers in a box.

ChasingAPinkBall · 13/03/2017 09:45

4th one down I read as 'vag lips'.
I now see it says 'Uglies' which I assume to be Ugly fruit?

Daysies · 13/03/2017 09:45

Well, the BBQ shapes are the best kind so they clearly oughtn't be trusted with shopping! They are delicious baked snacks.

Llamacorn · 13/03/2017 09:46

Looks all normal to me?

RedBullBlood · 13/03/2017 09:46

And now I see you weren't looking for translations... doh!

TheStoic · 13/03/2017 09:47

I think they might have a rat problem....rat stuff?

Goldenhandshake · 13/03/2017 09:48

I make it:

bread
drinks
apple juice
uglies (The fruit)
plain chips
shapes no bbq (I think there are crisps called shapes)
Fruit jellies???
Oreos
100% fruit ?
Scones
Scotch fingers

Panty liners
rat stuff (poison I assume)
Jiff
Panadol
Ham
Apples
Cucumber.

EpoxyResin · 13/03/2017 09:49

Aww, I was thinking they had pet ratties!

WombattingFree · 13/03/2017 09:49

BBQ shapes are the only shapes they should be buying!

Goldenhandshake · 13/03/2017 09:49

I think prepping for a small kids party? Judging by all the crisps/biscuitty things...

nelipotter · 13/03/2017 09:50

nope - an aussie here - what kind of a fruit is an 'uglies'????

MaitlandGirl · 13/03/2017 09:50

Uglies are monster shaped cookies and BBQ shapes are only good if it's the old recipe, the new one is vile!

RedBullBlood · 13/03/2017 09:54

Right, she's having a tea party and really hoping a rat doesn't appear in the kitchen. Also the liners and panadol indicate she's chosen a bad time for a tea party.

JerryFerry · 13/03/2017 09:55

Hardly difficult

Bread
Drinks
Apple juice
Uglies (actually I read this as vegetable something)
Plain chips
Oreos
Fruit
100% fruit scones
Scotch fingers
Panty liners
Rat stuff
Jiff
Panadol
Ham
Apples
Cucumber

Llamacorn · 13/03/2017 09:59

I thought it said fruit tins?

Uglies either the fruit or the little crappy toy thing. (Made by moose toys, same as shopkins originated in aus afaik)

100% fruit juice.

I think it's written by a mum, sorting a packed lunch for the week with fruit and apple juice, plus bribery with the Oreos.

She's just finished af hence the pantyliners and she has a hormonal stress headache too so put panadol on the list.

Scones are for a sneaky mum treat.

Rat stuff is for pest control. I'm presuming in the bathroom (don't know why) That's what the jiffs for Grin

(Does anyone else remember confused to be jiff? I still call it that)

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 13/03/2017 10:00

Right, ok, just realised that uglies are those horrid monster snacks. But what are 100% fruit scones?

Really didn't read it as rat stuff. Eew.

Fruit Jews? Uglies? Rat stuff? Do they want to kill rats or do they keep pet ones? I'm so confused.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 13/03/2017 10:07

Shouldn't it be 'naice ham'?

APlaceOnTheCouch · 13/03/2017 10:24

I thought Rat Stuff was party stuff and they had just forgotten the 'y' at the end because they were writing quickly.
