Celebrity affairs - help

So I am trying to teach a Science lesson on displacement reactions.
One example I saw was to use brad pitt and Jennifer was displaced.
My worry is that the kids will not know who these are. A year 7 today asked me who Jennifer Aniston was.

Anyone know of any more current celebs I could use?

I am too old to have a clue about celebrity relationships!

But what about using an example of some of the 'talent' shows like the seat thing on X factor where they get a seat but then when a better singer comes on they get it instead and the people left on the seats at the end go through? Or the assault course programme, warrior something, where the top however many with the fastest time go through and then you see the ones dropping down the leaderboard and losing out on the top places when someone gets a faster time.

Or footballers being substituted - Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal has taken real exception to it before, sure there would be clips on YouTube. Or the Premier League table?
