To think that people living on welfare shouldn't be running off every five minutes for a new tattoo or piercing?

I'm probably going to get shot down for this, but I just had a little disagreement with a woman I know. She posted a photo on Facebook of a rather large tattoo on her forearm that she'd just had done. Last month she had skin divers put in her chest and hand. The month before she had another shit tattoo.
This individual is single and has two children. She hasn't worked a day in the last decade, but is living off the state. Am I being a bitch by thinking she should spend the money she receives on feeding the children and keeping a roof over their heads? I noted that she feeds her boys Pot Noodle for dinner but makes sure she's got her fags too. It just annoys me.

So you are all seriously telling me that you think people who can't be arsed to work should get money for body art?

Well, art is a serious business. Maybe she's thinking of charging for people to see it?
Do you also criticise canvases for their choices?

OP do you have any idea how much benefits pay?
Its not in the hundreds per week. Benefits pay for the basics thats it. If she has a millionaire lifestyle benefits are not paying for it. I would think wonga and brighthouse are.

It's funny really, it's quite acceptable on the thread about self employment to accuse people of tax fraud and being 'on the fiddle', but it's outrage when it's about someone on benefits getting a tattoo.

According to google a skin diver is a piercing that goes under the skin. I was going to pretend I was hip and knew that, but decided to be honest. 😂

Well I'm sorry to break it to you, but it really is not any of your business.
Nowhere in any benefit legislation does it state that claimants should spend their money on items approved by you, me or anyone else.

Im a tax payer. Its none of my busines. I pay taxes to the goverment and it goes towards lots of things we (tax payer) pays the mps wages but you are not going on about how they spend there money.
