I'm probably going to get shot down for this, but I just had a little disagreement with a woman I know. She posted a photo on Facebook of a rather large tattoo on her forearm that she'd just had done. Last month she had skin divers put in her chest and hand. The month before she had another shit tattoo.
This individual is single and has two children. She hasn't worked a day in the last decade, but is living off the state. Am I being a bitch by thinking she should spend the money she receives on feeding the children and keeping a roof over their heads? I noted that she feeds her boys Pot Noodle for dinner but makes sure she's got her fags too. It just annoys me.

So you are all seriously telling me that you think people who can't be arsed to work should get money for body art?

Well, art is a serious business. Maybe she's thinking of charging for people to see it?
Do you also criticise canvases for their choices?

So if she were working and giving her kids pot noodles and getting tattoos would you have the same attitude? I'm curious.

Its not in the hundreds per week. Benefits pay for the basics thats it. If she has a millionaire lifestyle benefits are not paying for it. I would think wonga and brighthouse are.

Im a tax payer. Its none of my busines. I pay taxes to the goverment and it goes towards lots of things we (tax payer) pays the mps wages but you are not going on about how they spend there money.

Maybe C5 are making a programme about her and paid for the tattoos so they can whip the tax payers up into a frothing frenzy.

Maybe start a petition for anyone on benefits to submit a breakdown and proof of their expenditure?
