Last week a window salesman annoyed me. He rang our doorbell, I ignored it. He looked through my window and saw me in the garden with my 1 year old..he then came to the back garden and pulled himself up on our 6 foot fence and tried to sell us windows. I told him he wasnt being appropriate and i wasnt interested.
Today..im in my kitchen in my pajamas (heavily pregnant so dont judge haha!) I saw him walking door to door...he saw that one of our fence panels had come off in the storm (our landlord is fixing it) and saw me through the french doors...walked over my drive, stepped over the remaining foot of fence and walked through my garden and came and tapped on the French doors. I shouted my husband and as soon as DH opened the door while holding our baby the man started pointing at our door and poking it pointing out how dangerous it is and burglars could get in etc. DH asked why he had come into our garden and the man said "its all open mate I can do what I want" and DH got quite annoyed and told him to get off our private property and the man was quite aggressive and said that we had bad attitudes.
Am I going crazy?? Are we rude?? Ive tried to call the company but they dont answer. I called 101 for advice and they sent someone out and they couldn't see him, but they are also calling the company. The guy was so shocked that we weren't delighted to see him that I'm wondering if IABU!
