Cleaners

Sorry posting for traffic.

I am in Hampshire, how much should i expect to pay for a cleaner?

I have a 2 bedroom flat how many hours per week do you think I would need? Do most people have their cleaner come weekly? Or perhaps a once a month "deep clean" from a cleaner and just maintain your own cleaning in the mean time? Thanks

We are in Southampton and pay £10 ph and have 3 hours a fortnight.

We have a 3 bed house so I'd say 2 hours would be enough for a 2 bed flat.

Thank you for your insightful response Grin

Around £10/hour. We started with 2 hours a fortnight, and increased to 2 hours a week.

Kiroro · 08/03/2017 18:08

2h every week, £10 to £12 /hour

BigFatBollocks · 08/03/2017 18:12

£10 per hour.
If your house is clean to start and clutter free 2 hours would be fine I think.

£15 per hour for premium service with management and all equipment supplied by the cleaning service, but I know cleaning ladies and agencies are cheaper and some large franchises quote much dearer.

I think about two hours for a flat.

Eastleigh: £10ph 2 hours a week for a 4 bed house but that is just vacuuming, steam mop and kitchen wipe down, some living room polishing if time (and not every bedroom every week, only the ones we use). No bathrooms or bedroom polishing and we make sure there is nothing to move, all the floors and surfaces that need cleaning are clear. It keeps the grot down, and we do the rest - it also keeps us tidy!
